Dagen McDowell

Dagen McDowell joined FOX News Channel (FNC) in 2003 and was a founding anchor of FOX Business Network (FBN) when the channel launched in 2007. She currently serves as co-host of FBN’s evening program, The Bottom Line (weekdays, 6-7 PM/ET) and co-host of The Big Money Show (weekdays, 12-2 PM/ET) alongside co-hosts Taylor Riggs, Jackie DeAngelis, and Brian Brenberg.

Throughout her tenure, McDowell has provided financial commentary and analysis on a number of FOX News Media programs, including most recently on FBN’s Mornings with Maria and FNC’s Outnumbered, The Five and Gutfeld!  From 2011 to 2015, she provided news reports on the FBN simulcast of Imus in the Morning after previously serving as a business day anchor on the network. In 2009, she co-hosted Your Questions, Your Money, a weekend call-in show designed to answer viewers’ pressing questions about the economy. A skilled interviewer, she has also conducted several news-generating interviews, including with former Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson, former Secretary of State and First Lady Hillary Clinton, financier Charles Schwab, Rep. Tim Ryan (D-OH), former Labor Secretary Eugene Scalia and Lady Gaga’s father Joe Germanotta.

Prior to joining FOX News Media, McDowell wrote a personal finance column for TheStreet.com called "Dear Dagen." She got her start as a financial journalist at the Institutional Investor and also worked for SmartMoney magazine. 

A native of Virginia, McDowell is a graduate of Wake Forest University.
